Isabella Fonte is 14 years old and began her dance experience as a competition dancer at a local dance school near her hometown of Katonah, New York called Breaking Ground Dance Center. There she studied all forms of dance that included Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary and Ballet while winning many scholarships, and 1st place awards and 1st place titles.
Isabella has spent her summers traveling to different Ballet programs around the country such as the American Ballet Theater (NYC), Chautauqua Dance Program, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, the Paris Opera Ballet and Pacific North West Ballet which then led to her auditioning for The School of America Ballet in NYC. In 2012, she was accepted into their year round program. At SAB she continued to work hard and excel and was chosen to perform in NYCB’s production of The Nutcracker at Lincoln Center as a Polichinelle in the 2012-2013 season. In 2013, she was 1 out of 4 girls chosen to perform in NYCB’s production of Mozartiana. She received a positive review from The New York Post Newspaper.
Last year she was again selected to be in NYCB’s production of The Nutcracker, this time as a hoop dancer. She also performed in NYCB spring series Midsummer’s Night Dream at Lincoln Center in June 2014.
Isabella is also a model for Details Dance-wear and is in their national and international dance catalog.
She is very active in social media posting pictures on Instagram and just launched her Youtube Channel “Isabella Fonte Featuring Bella’s Tutu Tuesday“. She is working on a Clothing Line that will be sold on her website isabellafonte.com
She is also working on a charity that will give back to dancers called “Ballet for a Cause”.
